UN WOMEN

UNWOMEN supports UN Member States in setting global standards for women’s rights and works with governments and civil society to design the laws, policies, programmes and services needed to ensure that the standards are effectively implemented and truly benefit women and girls worldwide.

DISEC

(Disarmament and International Security Committee)

DISEC is the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly. It focuses on issues related to global peace, disarmament, and international security. DISEC addresses threats such as the proliferation of nuclear weapons, regional conflicts, and terrorism. It brings together all 193 UN member states to debate and propose non-binding resolutions aimed at promoting international peace and security. While DISEC does not have the power to enforce laws, its discussions play a key role in shaping international norms and encouraging cooperation among nations.

UNEP

(United Nations Environment Programme)

 UNEP is a United Nations organization responsible for coordinating international environmental activities and promoting sustainable development. It works with governments, organizations, and communities to address global environmental challenges such as climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and ecosystem protection. UNEP also supports countries in developing environmental policies and encourages global cooperation to protect the planet for present and future generations.

NATO

(North Atlantic Treaty Organization)

NATO is an international military and political alliance established in 1949 to ensure the collective defense and security of its member countries. It brings together nations mainly from North America and Europe, and its main principle is collective defense, meaning that an attack on one member is considered an attack on all members. NATO works to maintain peace, stability, and security through cooperation, joint military operations, and defense planning among its member states.

WHO

(World Health Organization)

Established on April 12, 1948, the WHO serves as the specialized agency of the United Nations dedicated to international public health. Its primary mission is to promote global well-being, ensure international safety, and provide vital support to vulnerable populations worldwide. To achieve these goals, the organization acts as the central directing and coordinating authority on international health work, providing technical assistance to governments during emergencies and leading global efforts to combat epidemics and pandemics. Furthermore, the WHO plays a critical role in developing and promoting international standards for food, biological, and pharmaceutical products to ensure safety and quality across borders.

JCC

(Joint Crisis Committee)

In this alternate future set in the year 2200, Earth bears the deep scars of a devastating existential war triggered by artificial intelligence that spiraled beyond human control. In the aftermath of this conflict, natural resources have been largely exhausted, the global climate has grown increasingly unstable, and access to clean water has become severely limited. As climate change intensified over the centuries, the equatorial belt gradually became largely uninhabitable, forcing massive shifts in human settlement and geopolitical power. Although artificial intelligence systems were ultimately eradicated, they left behind profound environmental devastation and long-lasting climate disruptions. With the collapse of the former global order, the world has since reorganized under the dominance of seven superpowers, each exercising absolute control over its respective continent. Despite their immense strength, these powers remain locked in a fragile balance, preventing any single state from achieving global supremacy.
